I want to be upfront about how this site makes money, because I think you deserve to know and honestly because I'd want to know if I were you.

When I write about an AI tool I use, I'll sometimes link to it. A few of those are affiliate links, which means if you click through and end up signing up for a paid plan, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. The price is exactly the same as if you'd found the tool on your own.

It does not change what I recommend

This is the part that matters. I only write about tools I actually use, and I'm honest when something disappoints me, even when that tool has an affiliate program and the disappointing-but-no-commission alternative doesn't. Plenty of the tools I recommend most, like ChatGPT, Claude, and Midjourney, don't pay me a cent. I link to them anyway because they're genuinely good.

A commission never buys a good review. If I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, it's not going on this site.

Why I do it this way

Affiliate commissions are what let me keep writing here without stuffing the site with ads or putting everything behind a paywall. If something I recommended helped you and you used my link, thank you, genuinely. It keeps the lights on.
